At the Leibniz Institute for Resilience Research, Career and Family are not only important but also integrated

Since 2021, the Leibniz Institute for Resilience Research (LIR) has been certified by the "audit berufundfamilie". This certification reflects the institute's family-conscious corporate policy. However, LIR does not rest on its laurels and continually implements targeted and needs-based measures to enable employees to harmonize career and family life pleasantly and appropriately. This includes, for example, flexible working hours, the absence of core working hours, the possibility of remote work, the use of various communication tools, and a wide range of training opportunities. Additionally, LIR offers a fully equipped parent-child office where children can feel comfortable while their parents work.
